Your impact
From the first day I visited Imperial, I knew this is where I wanted to study – so much so that I applied for two courses here. Life on campus was buzzing and the students all had such an obvious passion for their subjects. This excitement and ambition was so inspiring.
"As part of my design module, I am currently working on a Human Centred Innovation project where I am designing adaptive exercise equipment for people with cerebral palsy. It’s a really exciting
project as it has allowed me to research and complete a project within an area which has interested me for many years.
Thank you, I am immensely grateful for donors who support this fund. It has allowed me to focus entirely on my studies and eased the financial pressure of living in London.”

"I faced some financial issues when I had to move properties and ended up not having money to pay off some of my expenses. With help from the Student Hardship Fund I will have enough money to pay for transport and overdue bills and I will no longer be struggling.
Thank you for choosing to support students. Some of us come from less fortunate backgrounds and may end up facing unexpected financial problems. Knowing that alumni and the university
believe in you when you are struggling is incredibly motivating.”

"I wanted to go to a world-class university that would offer me the most opportunities. Looking back, I definitely made the best decision possible by choosing Imperial.
My dad was assisting me financially so that I could live in London but he suddenly passed away. I was struggling to support myself. Luckily the Dean's Fund was able to help and allowed me to continue to focus on my work instead of stressing about my situation.
Thank you for your support, I am extremely grateful. No matter how large or small those who obtain money from the Dean's Fund receive, I can guarantee it helps each person more than you know."
